I bought this laptop after doing much research. I wanted to avoid the limited potential for small netbooks, but still get a relatively thin laptop, which included optical drive. I bought this laptop at Best Buy, literally the first week it came out so that if at a great price. I only had about a week, but I wanted to write a review for those new notebooks on the market. We recommend that you buy to get the best price and some features offered by the advertised here.
Model is the black version, but one I have is a slate gray color, which really reduces the issue of fingerprints, and still looks very elegant. The area around the keyboard is gray. Laptop is about 1 and 1 / 2 inch thick and weighs just over 6 pounds with a 12-cell battery attached. While the battery protrudes from the bottom bit, actually serves the purpose and tilts the notebook easy to doeasier to type. It serves both as a home accessible to the navigation computer and so emotional if it improves air circulation. There is also an HDMI port and a headphone jack. Believe it or not, the speakers on this laptop are actually quite good, which is an improvement compared to other Toshiba (and most laptops) models. They are integrated into the top corner of the keyboard and look nice and not cheap. Of course, if you want great sound, you need external speakers, but honestly These speakers are much better than what comes with most laptops and work well for casual listening and movie watching.
Chicklet style keyboard is a small spacearound each key, and is very easy to use. It also contains a full number pad. I have not even thought it was important, but realize that it makes no difference now that I used for a while '. The arrows are separate keys located next to the spacebar. However, this has led to a small space bar, but not really a big problem.
Touch Pad used in this model is great. It is located slightly off center because of the number pad and is aligned with the chassis of the laptop, but has a textured surface, making it easy to find, easy to use and very responsive. There are several features touch pad, which seems strange, but I just need to understand their use. The buttons are located on the touch pad is very sensitive and not make noise banging that are cheap in some other notebooks. The biggest drawback to the touch pad is flush with a tendency to lump in writing. Toshiba has addressed this issue by adding a small button easily disableroute the rest can be read if necessary. The laptop has tons of memory, a very fast dual core processor and a fast hard disk. In general, I admire this laptop and acute the feeling I got something for everyone including plenty of conformity. Sure boutique because you can buy a larger quantity and includes the array of 12 cells and the blush of slate, which seems truly atramentous fingerprint magnet.
